Mom Advice Central-Child Birthday Party Game Idea

Fishing
You will need a nice sized bowl that a child’s face can fit. Put a bag of gummy
worms inside of the bowls and pour whipped cream all over the worms. Also have
a small empty bowl next to your “whipped cream pond.” During the birthday party,
announce it’s time to go fishing. Have as many bowls as you would like for a
contest. The child has to put his hands behind his back and use his teeth as the
fishing pole. During this game, have a ready set go count and have each child
start “fishing” for the worms inside the bowl with using their teeth only. Have a
timer set to your choice and when times up, see who caught the most worms.
Award your prize and wipe up faces!

Slip n Slide "form" judging - Summer time fun
Have a slip and slide ready to go. Each child gets in a straight line and takes turns
down the slip and slide. They each have to have their own "style" of posing/form
used when they reach the end. Have judges ready to give numbers assigned 1-5
on a card or piece of paper after the child goes. The child with the highest score
wins!

"I KNEW YOU WERE THINKING #_____
Take slips of paper and have the following phrases written on each paper. "I
KNEW YOU WERE THINKING #_____. Fill in the blank with different numbers. You
must remember where you hide each slip of paper to make this trick work. Pick a
child from the group and ask him/her to choose a number between 1-20. When
they pick the number, you must remember where you put the slip of paper with that
number on it. Tell the child to for example "go look under the lamp" underneath
the lamp will be a slip of paper that said "I KNEW YOU WERE THINKING #____!!) The
child will be amazed! This is a fun trick to do during the entire party at various
times.
