| FROM MOM'S POINT OF VIEW Letting go-------- Do you ever really? You just enter another stage. They yell for independence, you loosen the rein ever so slightly. Observing, but not disturbing, to be caring and not overbearing. To be seen from afar Has become who you are. FREQUENT FEELINGS Love and pride are felt inside. Whenever they cry, you want to die. You feel their pain, it can be insane. A part of you doesn't know what to do. To share their grief, can be a relief. Hug them tight make their day bright. HATS OFF TO MOMS Mom heals the hurts, her job is full of perks. Smiling and crying, when sometimes inside her heart is dying. Having no rest periods or breaks, being a strong person it takes. From walking to driving, there's always something exciting. Not knowing what's going to happen next, makes the role a real test. Always fast on her feet, as a toddler or teenager she must meet. And don't forget the chef hat, she'll have dinner out in minutes flat. And then there's even more to do, before she is through. By: Barbara Lauderdale Hearn; She is the mother of a teenage son, her only child. |

| PROUD The moment I heard your first cry I knew that nothing else mattered to me at that moment Nine long months have come and gone and now the reality of having you in my arms is finally here. Proud, Proud yes that's what I am a proud mother to be and now a proud mother that is. Life as I've known it will no doubt change Time spent more wisely will be my new way to live. There are so many things I want to show you and so many things I need to share your my joy, my heartbeat and my blessing and yes I'm proud that your mine! By: Charlene Cade Fostering Mother |
